Khalistani Terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s Murder: ISI’s Involvement Suspected

Indian sources raise concerns about the possible role of Pakistan's ISI in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. 'News 18' reports that the ISI may have plotted Nijjar's murder to harm India's reputation on the international stage. Two ISI agents, Rahat Rao and Tariq Kiani, are believed to be involved in this conspiracy.

India | September 27, 2023: In a shocking revelation, Indian sources have voiced suspicions about the involvement of Pakistan’s intelligence agency, the ISI, in the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a prominent Khalistani terrorist based in Canada. According to reports from ‘News 18,’ the Indian government is raising concerns about the circumstances surrounding Nijjar’s murder and is pointing fingers at the ISI’s possible role.

Sources within the Indian government have hinted at a conspiracy involving Nijjar’s acquaintances, suggesting that it would have been nearly impossible for anyone to get close enough to Nijjar without insider involvement. The alleged motive behind the ISI’s involvement is to destabilize India and tarnish its image on the global stage. Additionally, sources claim that two ISI agents, Rahat Rao and Tariq Kiani, have been actively working on planning terrorist activities from abroad.

Rahat Rao and Tariq Kiani are suspected of playing pivotal roles in coordinating with India’s most-wanted terrorists. Sources suggest that their involvement in Nijjar’s murder may have been driven by financial interests, including extortion from drug smugglers. It is emphasized that Nijjar was highly vigilant and cautious about potential threats, making it implausible for an outsider to approach him without the complicity of an insider.

Further complicating the matter is the revelation that several former officers associated with the Pakistan Army, including Major Generals, Havildars, and ex-ISI officers, resided in close proximity to Nijjar. Indian sources speculate that individuals with past or current ties to the Pakistan Army and ISI may have played a role in Nijjar’s assassination.

Sources claim that the murder of Nijjar could have been orchestrated to ensure the dominance of Rahat Rao and Tariq Kiani in the local drug industry. Nijjar’s influence and popularity among the local Canadian population were on the rise, posing a threat to the interests of the ISI-linked individuals.

Indian authorities have also raised the possibility that Rahat Rao, Tariq Kiani, and separatist Khalistani leader Gurcharan Pannu collaborated in Nijjar’s murder to maintain control over the narcotics trade, which was a source of funding for terrorist activities in Canada. Nijjar’s association with Sikh community leaders in Pakistan, including Wadhwa Singh and Ranjit Singh Neeta, was also seen as problematic by the ISI. Restricting the movement of these individuals may have been a motivation for eliminating Nijjar.

Hardeep Singh Nijjar met a tragic end on June 18, 2023, when he was shot dead in Surrey, Canada. Nijjar, who served as the head of Sikhs for Justice in Canada and the Khalistani Tiger Force, had a 10 lakh reward placed on him by India’s National Investigation Agency. The murder has sparked a major controversy, with the Canadian Prime Minister alleging India’s involvement. However, India has vehemently denied these allegations, setting the stage for potential strain in the relationship between the two countries.
