Unexpected Photo Swap: Yashwantrao Chavan’s Image on NCP Hoarding in Nashik Amidst Ajit Pawar’s Visit

The political buzz in Nashik as Sharad Pawar's photo replaced by Yashwantrao Chavan's on Ajit Pawar's banners during his Nashik visit.

Nashik, Maharashtra | October 07, 2023: In an unexpected turn of events, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s visit to Nashik has caused a stir as Yashwantrao Chavan’s photo was spotted on banners erected to welcome him instead of Sharad Pawar’s. The city is abuzz with discussions surrounding this sudden change in the banners.

Sharad Pawar had previously instructed the Ajit Pawar group not to use his photo on these banners. In compliance with his request, the organizers replaced Sharad Pawar’s image with that of Yashwantrao Chavan on the banners throughout Nashik.

Yashwantrao Chavan shared a close bond with Sharad Pawar, considering him to be like a son. Chavan, who served as the Defense Minister of the country, was elected unopposed to the Lok Sabha from Nashik. It is at this very location that the Ajit Pawar group chose to display Chavan’s image prominently on their banners.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s visit to Nashik prompted the installation of welcome banners across the district, featuring his name alongside Sunil Tatkare and Chhagan Bhujbal in bold letters.

These banners were put up by members of the Nationalist Ajit Pawar group in the Mumbai Naka area of Nashik city. Surprisingly, instead of Sharad Pawar’s photo, Yashwantrao Chavan’s image takes the spotlight on these banners. Additionally, the banners feature photographs of notable personalities alongside the prominent leaders of the Ajit Pawar group.

This unexpected swap of photos on the banners has ignited discussions not only among the public but also within the political circles of Nashik. The city awaits further developments in this intriguing political episode.
