Manoj Jarange Claims Chhagan Bhujbal’s BJP Shift Amidst Maratha vs OBC Reservation Debate

Accusations and Allegations Escalate as Political Drama Unfolds

November 23, 2023: In the midst of the ongoing dispute between Manoj Jarange Patil and Minister Chhagan Bhujbal regarding Maratha and OBC reservations, a new twist has emerged. Manoj Jarange Patil, known for his outspoken nature, has made a startling claim that Chhagan Bhujbal is considering a shift to the BJP. Jarange alleges that Bhujbal, known for his political flip-flopping, is on the verge of joining the Bharatiya Janata Party, creating a ripple effect in political circles.

Jarange’s accusations don’t stop there. He contends that Bhujbal’s penchant for making inflammatory statements and tearing banners has gone unchecked. In a warning directed at Ajit Pawar, Jarange urges action to rein in the Bhujbal duo. Moreover, he accuses the government of misleading OBCs to target the Maratha community, emphasizing the need for accountability in dealing with those inciting communal strife.

Adding fuel to the fire, Jarange suggests that Bhujbal may have been enticed by an offer from the BJP, pointing out the lack of intervention by the Home Minister. In a recent address in Nashik, Jarange even delves into Bhujbal’s past, claiming knowledge of his activities, including selling vegetables and acquiring someone’s bungalow.

Support for Jarange’s claims comes from unexpected quarters, as MP Sanjay Raut validates the allegations. Raut goes further, predicting defections from Ajit Pawar’s and Shinde’s groups to the BJP. The assertion that he would contest elections on the BJP’s symbol has stirred excitement in political circles, drawing a sharp response from Bharat Gogawle, who accuses Raut of baseless criticism.

Amidst this political turmoil, the last day of Manoj Jarange’s Maharashtra tour is underway. Following a meeting in Khopoli, discussions with Maratha society’s tehsildar, Dr. Met Sheetal Rasal, shed light on Kunbi records. The tehsildar urges Maratha brothers to submit necessary documents. Jarange’s tour concludes today with visits to Ahmednagar and Beed, featuring a total of five meetings. The Srirampur leg of the tour witnessed a warm reception, with flowers showered on Jarange, underlining the intensity of the political climate in Maharashtra.
