BJP Unveils Slogan for Upcoming Elections – ‘Tisari Bar Modi Sarkar, Abaki Bar 400 Par

Party Strategizes on Key Issues and Announces Plans for Lok Sabha Elections

New Delhi | January 03, 2024: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) charted its course for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections during a high-level meeting held in Delhi on Tuesday. Party President J.P. Nadda presided over the gathering where a new slogan, ‘Tisari Bar Modi Sarkar, Abaki Bar 400 Par,’ was unveiled, emphasizing the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the third consecutive term.

Sources from the party revealed that the meeting primarily focused on the strategic approach to be adopted in the upcoming polls. The party plans to announce new office bearers for each Lok Sabha constituency and has devised a detailed strategy to keep the issue of the Ram temple prominent in the run-up to the elections.

The BJP’s success in the past five years, particularly in states like Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, has been attributed to its promotion of the Garib Kalyan Yojana and the strong image of Prime Minister Modi. The party aims to continue leveraging the ‘brand Modi’ factor as it goes before voters in the upcoming elections.

In Maharashtra, where the Maratha reservation issue poses a significant challenge, the BJP plans to field candidates on more than 25 seats, aiming to retain its stronghold. The party also faces a considerable challenge in West Bengal, where BJP National President Amit Shah has set an ambitious target of winning 35 Lok Sabha seats.

The BJP is not limiting its focus to the northern regions but is also investing efforts in the south. Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to tour Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala at the beginning of the new year, signaling the party’s commitment to expanding its influence beyond traditional strongholds.

Political dynamics in several states, including Maharashtra, and the resurgence of the Congress in the south, have become critical considerations for the BJP’s top leadership. The party is closely monitoring the evolving situation, especially after its performance in the six southern states during the 2019 elections.

In Telangana, where the BJP faced challenges in the past, Home Minister Amit Shah has set an ambitious goal of winning 10 out of 17 Lok Sabha seats. The party is also actively working to unite factions within the AIADMK in Tamil Nadu and exploring alliance possibilities.

As the political landscape evolves, the BJP is gearing up for a dynamic electoral campaign, banking on the ‘brand Modi’ appeal and a strategic approach to tackle regional challenges across the country.
